Windows 98(SE), Gateway 500mz.Pent.3,13.6 gig.DVD Rom drive,-An exception OE has occured at 0028:C1857EF6 in VxD PPPMAC(04)+00025596.This was called from 0028:C183A474 in VxD PPPMAC(04)+00007B14.It may be possible to continue normally....Anybody out there got any ideas?

Hello, I am hoping to answer you problem here, It could be either someone has run a "kiss of death" program, which launches a denial of service attack your network point. Or, have you tried installing IPX/SPX on your computer as sometimes the DUN calls for a IPX/SPX stack, and somehow and only every now and again, can cause this error. I hope this helps

Hi Dave: I am having fatal exception error in 0028:C183A870 in VXD PPPMA(04) + 00000A6FO. Have been surfing the net all night trying to find feedback. This is the closest I've come so far to matching the address.
