Please help me--followin file is missing or corrup

Every time i turn my computer on it opens in safe mode--then i get a message that states ..The following file is missing or corrupted : C:\WINDOWS\IFSHLP.SYS and no matter what i type in i get the same message-i don't know what to do--please can someone help me

Try running the system file checker from safe mode
select...start-run-type in "sfc"
You can restore the file from your windows OS disk.

If your running winXP type in SFC /scannow be sure to have your xp setup disk because xp will ask you to insert it into the cdrom.
