On start up I am getting following:
AN EXCEPTION OE HAS OCCURRED AT 0028:C0070021 IN VXD VNETBIOS(01)+ 000009B1.
THIS WAS CALLED FROM 0028:C024C505 IN VXD VMM(13)+ 000005D5.I am running W98 V2.
Any assistance to resolve this would be appreciated thanks

AKA: NETBEUIIf you have a home network, you may need another solution. I guess I would rather uninstall the NETBEUI and reinstall it. This should fix your problem. FYI: NETBEUI is NOT installed on Windows XP by default. Computerpilot

i did not see a netbios in my netwrok setting, is it called something else. please help!!!!!!!!!!!1

Go to the network Icon under the control panel and remove Netbios from your network protocols. Reboot the machine and it should fix it. Are you running any network apps that require netbios??: On start up I am getting following:
