Actually, this is a common problem with Outlook 2000 and other OS's like win 98 or winnt. The problem is when you use word as your email editor. A work around would be to install either service pack two for office 2000 (but this blocks certain file extensions like .exe and other ones like that) or you can use another email editor. : Go to Start, Find, Files or folders. Find the file named normal.dot and rename it to normalold.dot This should take care of it.

Having the same problem. Noticed that EZPhoto was a problem and followed the instructions off of Microsoft's tech page to get rid of it. It included renaming the normal.dot. Worked for a day or two, but now winword.exe is still hogging 100% CPU. Any other suggestions?: Go to Start, Find, Files or folders.
