This seems complicated but I hope it isn't. When i'm online (I am Windows Me and Outlook user) and especially when I cancel my connection the screen goes blank, if i then hit the space key twice the PC restarts. The same thing happens when i sent things to print. As the print end the OE message MXECPV (02) comes up (I've tried the fixes for that) and if I "press any key to return to windows" the blank screen comes up and two clicks on my space bar restarts the PC again. I have also found that if I go into Modems on control panel, diagnostics and press more info, yes, you guessed, the PC restarts.
The OE message relates to HP printers (i have one) but none of the fixes have any impact on that.
