Windows file is missing or corrupt Post a Reply

The :\windows\system32\system file is missing or corrupt. I have gone this site, http://www.digitalwebcast.com/articles/viewarticle.jsp?id=8658,in which they have described some procedures to do from the windows recovery menu from the setup disc, but the error message still comes up. I have also tried logging on using my second hard drive and getting the documents i need off of the first that way, but when i go to my computer it does not show up at all. When i look under hardware and devices it is there, but i cannot access it. I have not actually gone into the computer and switched the cables to make the hard drive that crashed the slave, but i just tried to work it from the bios. Any suggestions?
