I get a very similar error: “The exception unknown software exception (0xc0000005)…” on every 32bit application I run on vista 64bit. This is after the CPU overheated once, I fixed it, but the error remains.
In a new installation on the same computer there is no error, however i need the old installation to work. Any ideas?
