Txs for the interesting posts.
Toshiba Satellite 1800. HD not recognised by Xp neither as a primary, nor as a slave.
HD spins. Change of the board with identical - no help.
XP CD - recovery halts b/se of HD not identified.
Knoppix and Slax do not recognise the HD through an external USB drive.Any suggestions?
I need the data from the HD.
