Me too am geting a error sayin...."Could not load the DLL library. The specified module could not be found".
Plz give me a remedy.

Dear PAT,

Would be grateful if that winzip file can be mailed to me at suri.manik@gmail.com as I too am facing a similar problem. The problem that I am getting is:

""Could not load the DLL library. The specified module could not be found" is the what I get."

DEAR MADAM,
EVERYTIME I AM TRYING TO DOWNLOAD THE LATEST VERSION OF YAHOO MESSENGER MY COMPUTER KEEPS ON TELLING ME ABOUT ITS FAILURE DUE TO SOME MISSING DLL. FILE.
I SHALL BE HIGHLY OBLIDGED IF YOU PLEASE HELP ME TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM.

Chances are, the error you are receiving is:

Missing msvcp71.dll or Missing MSVCR dll

You'll have to replace the missing file in order to use the Yahoo Messenger.

Your options - IF you have windows you can extract the file from
your disc

I have the file copied ( because this is so common)
and would be happy to forward it along. You'll have
to have a WINZIP program to unzip the file extract
it and then DELETE YAHOO MESSENGER IN ADD/REMOVE
PROGRAMS - AS WELL AS ANY DESKTOP ICON OR SHORTCUT.

THEN, REINSTALL YAHOO MESSENGER. WITH THE MISSING DLL
FILE NOW REPLACED, YOUR MESSENGER WILL BE FINE....
