In my experience will's solution is a certainty ! lol If you are talking about formatting the drive you need to boot from a start-up floppy and type in FDISK at the prompt. Not recommended if you don't know what you're doing as there is a few trickier bits after that but if you go slow and read/understand then its not too difficult. If you have a back-up CD that came with the computer you can boot off there and achieve the same result. I recommend doing it once a year anyway to rebuild all the lost system files and clean out all the junk and problems Windows develops. Good Luck
