I am running W98. Whenever I try to boot, I get Fatal Exception OE at 0187:00000001. I'm also unable to start in Safe-mode.

Does anyone know what this is, or how to fix it?

Hello,

yesterday my uncle had the same problem. I've reinstall Win98 over the corrupt Version. Yo have to have start windows with bottdisk an enable CD-Rom drive.

If the installation is finish you can works normaly fine.
