platc.dll missing causing error with Panda Platinu

Hi. I've just installed Panda Platinum Internet Security (upgrade from Panda Platinum Antivrus 7.0). When I first install from CD - the self-diagnosis shows everything including the firewall to be working. Then the virus signature file and the software get updated via internet. That is successful but as soon as that happens - the firewall stops working. The error message I get when I try to go into firewall settings tells me platc.dll is missing. Any expert able to help? Panda Tech Support are trying but not making much headway ... thanks .........

I have also got this problem having tried to uninstall Panda and I can't get rid of the error window, I will never use Panda again.

And aparently there is no solution.

I need to say it happend to me too. I bought several Platinum Internet Security 8, each one had a problem, and today after several months using something else, I tried again. I had one I activated today, I tried 5 times to repair it. I would install and Uninstall and try to repair it, it always said platc.dll is missing. The only solution is never use Platinum Internet Security 8 because Platinum Internet Security 2005 works. Platinum Internet Security 8 has failed several times from several people explaining it, it happend to them too.
