My Norton Anti virus program does not scan or disinfect. Getting message that n32userl.dll file missing.

In the mean time my computer has been infected with W32/klez.H@mm virus.

If you have that file, please send me at skundu@worldnet.att.net

Você necessita deixa-nos (mim) sabe que OS você tem antes que eu possa lhe ajudar restaurar o que o Klez tem feito já. Se você tiver um estes OS's, você pode funcionar ' um sfc ' no alerta de comando aos desaparecidos de repair/replace ou às limas de sistema danificadas do vírus. A lima que do DLL você está consultando a é uma parte de Norton. De o que você discribing, o vírus começou seu payload e emailing uma cópia a todos seus amigos. O Klez.h é projetado incapacitar a abilidade de Norton/McAfee's de proteger e fazer a varredura de seu computador. Adicionalmente, (software do antivirus) não podem remover o vírus sozinho. Faça isto o mais cedo possível como todos seus amigos estão sendo everytime que infected você registra no Internet. Uma vez que você removeu o vírus usando a ferramenta, o uninstall Norton (não pode reinstalar o excesso uma cópia exisiting) e instala-a outra vez. Esta é a única maneira que você pode restaurar as limas do DLL em Norton. Esta vez, certifica-se que faz a varredura de seu email expresso de outlook/outlook. Se você tiver o correio da correia fotorreceptora, shame em você! Estes email são muito suspicious na natureza. Você deve nunca download um src, um exe, um bat, umas limas etc.. Se você quiser aprender como encontrar para fora que um de seus amigos (sim, era alguém você saiba!) emitido lhe a você, afixe então para trás e eu dar-lhe-ei instruções. Eu dir-me-ia ao email se você tivesse problemas mas eu tenho bastante cópias do Klez...

I got the same message about the missing n32userl.dll
I checked all the solutions and most of them involved checking for a virus (which I did with removal tools and all)and un/reinstalling McAfee. First I tried several n32userl.dll files, because there seem to be a lot of different ones, but non of them had to go in a directory I had. I uninstalled McAfee and installed Norton Antivirus. After rebooting I still get the same message about a missing n32userl.dll file. It's probably one of those problems involving low format but should anyone have a thought about it, please share it.

No one in their right mind would send you any email after they have learned you have been infected by the Klez.h. Just the possiblity of my email address getting put into your address book gives me the chills. I am so tired of this stupid virus that I consider recieving 5 copies a day a normal IT chore...

Did you remove the virus? Do you have Windows 2000 or XP? You need to let us (me) know what OS you have before I can help you restore what the Klez has done already. If you have one these OS's, you can run an 'sfc' at the command prompt to repair/replace missing or damaged system files from the virus.

The dll file you are referring to is a part of Norton. From what you are discribing, the virus has started its payload and is emailing a copy to all of your friends. The Klez.h is designed to disable Norton/McAfee's ability to protect and scan your computer. Besides, they (antivirus software) cannot remove the virus alone. You need a removal tool. It just so happens I know where you can get it (ok, I have had to remove the damned thing on my computers too).

Go to this website and you will find the removal tool in the lower right corner of the site. Download it and run the removal tool. Norton alone WILL NOT work to remove the Klez (it is only designed to scan your incomming/outgoing email for the Klez). Do this as soon as possible as all of your friends are being infected everytime you log onto the internet.

Once you have removed the virus using the tool, uninstall Norton (cannot reinstall over an exisiting copy) and install it again. This is the only way you can restore the dll files in Norton. This time, make sure it scans your outlook/outlook express email. If you have web mail, shame on you! These emails are very suspicious in nature. You should never download a .src, .exe, .bat, etc. files. If you want to learn how to find out which one of your friends (yes, it was someone you know!) sent it to you, then post back and I will give you instructions.

I would say to email me if you have problems but I have enough copies of the Klez...
