Hi some one please help, this is driving me mad!!! i have a dell inspiron 8100 laptop with a GeForce2 GO. The laptop screen does not work so i connected an external Sony tft, and it was fine the display was fine untill a few weeks ago when it started flickering, now its so bad it drives u to disstraction!!!! HELP

It sounds like either a video card or a loose connection either which is usually in the left hinge of a dell inspiron. if it's the video card, since it's a laptop it's integrated into the board which would be expensive to replace. $249.00 on this site for that board...http://www.parts-people.com/index.php?action=category&start=0&id=2&subid= but it's a great site for parts for dell laptops.... Hope it helps.
