I would like to know what can I do to stop my computer from crashing or having to re-open internet explorer. Lately I have been getting this message: "Program Error" IEXPLORE.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows. What is causing this problem. I am using Windows 2000 Professional and my computer is a HP Pavilion M70.

Go to microsoft security updates,
check your updates for your pc, based on your operating system... you may need to install a security patch... you may also have a sasser worm... they have the patch to correct it...
The worm takes over your pc and Windows explorer & more.
