When I click on the internet explorer icon I get the egg-timer as my cursor for a couple of seconds but then nothing happens - I have no idea why this is happening. Also I keep getting a blue screen with "error: 0E : 016F : BFF8E64B". I did a search for this error but all I could find was someone who got the same message when playing spider solitaire, which isn't what's causing my problem as I don't play it. I would be so grateful for any help - I've got important essays that I need to research for online and this really isn't helping!!

If you search http://support.microsoft.com/ for BFF8E64B you get articles on driver conflicts that may cause the 0E:016F:BFF8E64B error. Mentioned are a graphics card driver and a printer driver. One of the proposed resolutions is to use another computer....Method 3: Use a Different Computer Because this problem only occurs with a few models of computers... That should help!

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;308366Haven't tested this yet. Seems like somewhere along the way Microsoft removed the option to "Repair Internet Explorer" from System Information tool. I'll post more if I find anything. If anyone out there has something solid, email me at cia.director.gov @gmail.com (no spaces) later, f

Did you ever find a solution to this? My searches haven't come up with much, and it's over a year after you asked.f
