Hello,
I have Compaq and OS is window 98.
My problem is when I click on disk defragmenter the small window of defragmentation appears but computer freezes. Mouse pointer moves freely but computer would not respond of clicks. Pressing Ctrl+alt+Del the blue screen appears with the message "an exception OE has occurred at 0028:C0031A54 in VxD’. Tried to restart comp pressing Ctrl+alt+Del again, nothing happens. I have to turn off and restart comp manually. After restarting everything works fine until I try to defragment.
I need to run defragmenter. Please can anyone help me? Thanks.
