I had just finished reinstalling windows ME onto my computer and everything went fine set up modem and updated video etc.
then i set up the intenet to download norton trial for virus protection and went to bed (approx 4 hours on 56k to download)
when i woke in the morning i could not get monitor to come on (harddrive light was on but no noise)i reset the computer then it loaded windows and came up with a grey screen after completion.
re formated and installed windows after trying to fix now it will setup windows but crashes with this message at the end on system config after setting up start menu etc.
cant get windows back up.have tryed new harddrive and tryed without modem.please help!!!!!!!!!!
