I'm repeating this from another thread which actually had the exact opposite problem where AOL wasn't working.I have Win XP, AOL 9.0, Netgear router and DSL... From within the AOL browser, everything is at full speed. From Internet Explorer, or any other app outside of AOL (like Quicken) it is a very very slow connection to the Internet (usually times out)... I haven't a clue, anyone have any ideas? Is AOL basically controlling all access to the Internet causing the slowdown to other apps that don't use it?
When I remove the router, everything works as it should...
