Ok after much struggling this morning I've decided to seek out help.

Background: Yesterday I used hijack this to remove spyware/adware from my computer. I had a few pests that would not leave with just spybot, adaware. . .all that jazz. I am pretty computer savvy (although I obviously goofed here somewhere.)

Result: Anytime I load a webpage with sound it errors and the ie window closes.

I am running xp pro. I ran msinfo32 and the most recent error is pasted below:

3/14/2004 12:31 PM Application Error Faulting application iexplore.exe, version 6.0.2800.1106, faulting module wininet.dll, version 6.0.2800.1400, fault address 0x00063250.

If you're running XP you should be able to restore the system to the state just before you installed your last program. Or if you have any other restore points you have put in manually you could go to any of those. (in the future, putting in a restore point before running programs such as spybot or hijack might be a good idea.) Since your only problem is IE, backup whatever data you need to and do a restore.
