It applies Windows 95 but may help you.

http://www.techsupportforum.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=9143It looks like your version of mmsys.cpl is corrupt and will have to be replaced from your Windows CD. You may be able to download a copy from the Internet, if you only have a "Recovery" disc
