From: George on 02/01/2004
Hello!!

Well here is the problem:
Every time i set ANY aplication on Full-Screen mode (Games, Avis, Mpegs, anything that can be set on full-screen) after a few minutes when I close it, I get this error Message:

EXPLORER caused a stack fault in module
KERNEL32.DLL at 0167:bff8435e

Registers:
EAX=007D22B8 (OTHER VALUES GOES HERE)
EBX=00415200
ECX=007D20B8
EDX=00000002

and then all DESKTOP items dissappear, and i mean all of them, Desktop goes blank then the same message appears one more time but this time the REGISTERS are different:

EXPLORER caused a stack fault in module
KERNEL32.DLL at 0167:bff8435e

Registers:
EAX=00c52488 (OTHER VALUES GOES HERE)
EBX=00415200
ECX=00c52288
EDX=00000005

and i have to reboot every time this message appears (It always appears twice).

I've been lookin for some time now, and i haven't seen this particular problem on the WEB... Please anyone has a FIX or something?

Already formated Hard Disk, re-installed Windows 98 Se, Re-Installed Mother Board's Drivers, re-placed Kernel32.dll file, re-named APPLOG file and it keeps showing........ PLEASE HELP.

Hi again. Ok i've already did that (That includes removing all the programs on my PC) my Hard-Disc space was 800 MB ocupied (Windows and common aplications) and it's still there.

MSN never shows this error, so i think its not the problem. I'm even startin to believe its some kind of virus or hack from someone at the Kernel File, hey, can it be my PHYSICAL MEMORY CARD the RAM can it be damaged or something????
I also readed somewhere that it could be 'cause of the overheat.
so many tangles and no solution yet...... well thanks anyway.

I had same problem and after a couple of days researching in internet my best option was to duplicate same than a person named riveret, removing messenger and last program (SBC DSL) and that solved my problem.
