On January 11, 2004 after installing recommended updates for Windows 98SE from the Microsoft web site, all sound on my computer went dead, no beeps, no radio, not a single sound. My guess is that the problem may come from one of two drivers that were part of the recommended updates, but this is just a guess. Any help on how to restore my sound would be greatly appreciated.
