Latitude c800 continuously restarting itself

My Dell latitude c800 continuously restarts itself without reaching windows. It automatically will go into scandisk, and regardless if I scan or not, will freeze then restart seconds after. From this restart, it goes straight to the screen that gives you the option to open in safe mode. If I do so, the computer freezes, if I open with another option, it restarts itself again. Any help or ideas hugelely appreciated.

i am having a similar problem. my problem however is that sometimes it won't start at all... when it does start it will load to windows i can use it for a short period of time and it will then either restart or freeze on me. i am also in need of help with that problem i have mentioned.
