I have a new Canoscan 5000F scanner, and it has never worked, despite repeated reloads, emeils to Canon, and I see on Net that it is a common problem with Win98. Keep getting Twain errors, and messages saying cannot find device. In My Computer, it shows as connected!!
Please help before I give to someone as a suppository.
