Hy guys sorry to bother with this but i'm already tired of fighting with windows:OK. I have nero intaled and everytime i try to burn a disk i get this: OE fatal exception in 0028:coo3cb32 in vxd ios (01)+ 0000146E apliction will be terminated. I have already instaled a new ios.vxd, and the problem is not solved. looked on the net for a solution and the only text related said that it could be NC Scheduler. Well, as long as i know i don't have a frigging NC Scheduler, let along diconect the sucker. Sugestions?? OS: win98 Recorder:Teac something

I have the same problem. I am running Win98SE. I am almost positive it is a software conflict, at least in my case, because I have run the software before without errors on the same system, and if I reformat the system and start new it works okay. I have tried the demo release of Nero6.0 and it does not have the same problem, so one solution is just go with the newer version.

I have the same problem. From my research and previous usage of the drives in question, I have come up with two possibilites. Software: an upgrade of the IDE/Chipset drivers is required. Hardware: A bad drive, bad cable, or, in my non-expert suggestion, an incompatibility between the motherboard and the master drive (burner). Although, of this writing, I haven't upgraded drivers, I wonder if trauma to the mechanism had ever happened, and increased the possibility of hardware dysfunction.
