1. Right-click the PC-cillin icon on the system tray.

2. Choose the Exit option to unload PC-cillin.

3. When asked, "Do you also want to stop real-time scanning?", click the Yes button.

4. Back up and delete the Windows registry below (the key and all entries under it):

5. Reboot the machine and delete C:\Program Files\Trend Micro directory.

Cannot remember the specifics but i can give you a rough idea on how to get around it and hopefully that will help.

It won't uninstall because a part of it starts running in the background on boot up.

Ascertain the proggie that is the culprit and remove from the startup.

I think I used fix-it 2000 to stop the programme from loading on boot.

Otherwise if your a wizz you could find it in the registry and delete the entry.

I'm afraid I cannot remember the pc-cillin proggies name. You will just have to look at you processes in the task manager and nut it out from there.
