Everytime I boot up in Windows 95 I get a blue screen with the error message "fatal exception OE 0028:CO273556in VXD VWIN32 (04) + 00001732" (limit 50). Right before it happens a little box pops up saying something like "loading personal preferences for". I can contiue with the boot by immeadiately pressing down a key and holding it for a few seconds OR just press down a key during the booting process. I'm afraid though that one day that won't work and everything will stop. I'm also getting a an illigal operation everytime I try to access a Microsoft help sight. I don't know if any of this is related. I would appreciate any advise that you all can give.

I to have this message on a blue screen but it ocurs only somtimes when I try to shut down.

If your system will support it why not upgrade to windows 98?This page error seems common to win95 and an upgrade is feasible by either buying the upgrade or borrowing a Windows second edition cd from someone who already runs win98.Check your hardware and see if it conforms to minimum requirements.The installation will do this anyway once you start installation.Start pc in dos then type SETUP with cd in drive.
