I've removed my scanner software but when i start my computer up XP asks for flatbed.exe...but the file doesn't exist anymore... where do i have te remove the link to that file???

When you have a problem with the startup file flatbed.exe you can disabel that. Open msconfig go to startup and look fore this file and disabel it.
