This is normal. You want to have the computer search the Floppy and CDROM first. If you system crashes, you can simply put a startup disk in the floppy drive or a CD in the CDROM drive and get the computer running again. If you do not want to search out your floppy and CDROM drives, then have the first boot device in your BIOS setting set to IDE - 0. Then you will not search the other drives.I do not recommend this action, though. I think you are better off leaving it exactly the way it is! Computerpilot.
