 Window ME freezes when attempting to install drive Post a Reply

I am trying to install the driver for the Nikon Coolscan (USB) under Windows ME but my system keeps on freezing (even when I specify exact location for driver). I have not had problems with installing USB devices before and Windows ME normally runs smoothly.

Does anyone have a solution?

Try Uninstalling the device then install the driver FIRST then install the hardware. It work for me.
