I am having a problem with my Outlook 2000 client running on Windows 98 on my IBM ThinkPad T20. My mail setup is running as from Exchange Server, NOT Internet Mail.Starting about a week ago my Outlook client started crashing when new mail comes in. It is sporadic in that I cannot replicate the problem, nor can I figure out what is causing it except that it only occurs when new mail arrives. When it crashes I get a "blue screen of death" with the following error messages: A FATAL EXCEPTION OD HAS OCCURRED AT 00FD:0000B59A. THE CURRENT PROGRAM WILL BE TERMINATED. A FATAL EXCEPTION OE HAS OCCURRED AT 017F:BFF9DFFF. THE CURRENT PROGRAM WILL BE TERMINATED. A FATAL EXCEPTION OE HAS OCCURRED AT 015F:00005B38. THE CURRENT PROGRAM WILL BE TERMINATED. I have researched the Microsoft site, as well as other message boards, and I cannot find a solution to this problem. The closest thing I could find was an article that said to delete your mailbox in Outlook and create a new one. I did that, but the problem continues. Thanks in advance.

Mine too. running XP with a outlook 2000. seems that this just started happening over the last few weeks. Totally random, in that mail can be received and I can even get into a reply before it freezes. No errors, just locks up and requires a hard reset. seems to be associated with pc-cillin but turning this off does not correct the problem. The computer can run all day with multiple apps open.
