The renaming of the file outcmd.dat worked for me also. My setup is as follows: win98, outlook2k, exchange2k server. Thanks for the response.BTW, Slink9, have a little respect for people. I realize that some answers may be considered wrong, but at least they are trying to help the individual.

The solution "Rename the Outcmd.dat File" is described in Microsoft's Knowledge Base-article Q196633 "OL2000: How to Troubleshoot Invalid Page Faults (IPF) in Outllib.dll" So, the only "STUPID IDIOT" is Slink9

Thanks People I was getting rather concerned about a solution to this problem. The outcmd.dat rename/delete works 100%The question begs to be asked, howcome MSN / Microsoft don't let on about this secret.

I can tell you what worked for me. Click Start -> Find and do a search for outcmd.dat file. Rename it to outcmd.da_ and restart Outlook. This fixed the problem for me!

OK well obviously the person who gave their prevoius answer below has "NO PC" knowledge at all and should "GET LOST" cos your "TO THICK" to belong to a professional support group like nocrashes ..."STUPID IDIOT"... Ok back to your PC problem, you need to choose to uninstall the office 2000 set, by doing this you get asked to choose 3 options, one of them is to repair the installation, Get your office 2000 disk set and insert the first disk and choose the option to repair, try this as a sultion for now, also look at the issue as a possible memory problem or corrupt file. Have you got the service packs for office 2000, goto microsoft's web site and search for office 2000 SP... http://www.softwarepatch.com/office/ there got if for you, so try to repair the installation of office 2000 and also look at the memory side of it to, Slink9
