Ok this could be a driver issue, or a memory issue, but you say that the problem goes away in safe mode. Boot the PC into normal mode and change the display settings to VGA. Use the PC like you normally do and see if the problem re-ocurs, if not look towards the problem with the graphics, you can set the hardware acceleration to a lower point.

Also think about memory because of the invalid page faults in user.exe, take out all memory and try only with one memory module, see if the system responds better this way, also when you boot into windows check the file called bootlog.txt in root. Its a hidden file but notpad will display it if you type in the file name in the open file dialoge box, look for corruption in any windows files including VXD and SYS files.

Go to sysem information and use the windows utility for system file checks, run this utility and replace any files windows asks you to replace.

With the resources being low check the drive space is not critically low and the page.sys file (Virtual Memory)is active, you may want to remove this file and re-instate it. hen windows boots use the utility also called msconfig, run tis in the 'run' option at start button, goto the startup tab and remove any processes you find you do not need to run when windows boots up by unchecking them. This will load less programs helping windows with its resources...
