looks like theres a problem somewhere, mainly to do with the explorer
in windows (Internet Explorer). If you have I.E 6 you can uninstall it and look for I.E 5.5 for windows 98.Try this otherwise it could be hardware related where the modem in conflicting with onother peice of hardware
