Windows 98 and AOL 5 and a new hard drive installed 2 weeks ago

All worked well for 13 days then a succession of of error messages:

0028: C024AFFB in VXD VMM (12)+ 00000FFB
17 DF 000007FE
0028: C15 AEFFF
C14 ECFFF in VXD MSTCP (12) + 00000B01F

I cannot find these specific error messages on any Microsoft help-links.
