I recently updated my IE from 4.0 to 6.0 now I get this error all the time.

EXPLORER caused an invalid page fault in
module KERNEL32.DLL at 0177:bff7b9e6.

Make sure you do not have any ADWARE software on your computer such as GATOR. This software is really sneaky and simply removing it through the add/remove programs will not completely elliminate it. You can post back for instructions. This is a program that you will have to manually remove from the registry. There are other free software downloads available on the Internet to detect and remove these types of ADWARE. Maybe you don't have this kind of software...

It is quite possible that you still have left over files and older file versions from the previous version of IE. Kernel error messages are popular in these instances. If this is the case, completely remove IE and start from scratch.
