I have a crystal soundfusion cs4281. When I install the card (several times) I get no indication that the line in will not be activated. I can record useing the mic, but not the line in. BUT!!!, when I plug into the line in I get sound from my speakers. I am trying to record some 33 1/3 records to CD. I want to use the line for stereo. I have recorded mono records using the mic and get great results.

What do I need to do to get sound recorder and my B's Gold to recognize the line in?

Do I need a different sound card? Are the settings that I am not aware of?
