Might be your sound card. Is it motherboard integrated? If not, try to remove it or disable it in Safe Mode in the Device Manager. Does this help? If so, try a new or reinstall the driver for the sound card. Make sure that it is not sharing IRQs too many other devices. You might have to move it to the furthest PCI slot from the original as possible. If this is not the case, suspect the NIC card (Ethernet). Pull or disable the device and see if this has an affect. If so, reinstall or update driver. Computerpilot
