Hi,

I'm experiencing a fatal error code when i attempt to reboot/shutdown.

The error code indicates: Error: 0E: 0177: BFF775DD.

The operating system is Windows ME

The operating system is fully up to dated as per from MS' windowsupdate.microsoft.com.

It's been clean installed and yet I experienced fatal error from it.

Please kindly help me out by telling me what does this error code stands for, so I can might solve it.

I did some further reaearch and found a note saying that 0E:0187:BFF775DD is a classic video driver failure.

I'll test if updating the driver will make a difference.

I have the same error occasionally when starting up Win ME. Shutting down and starting again usually takes care of it.

I'd appreciate any help as well.

I get exactly the same !
What's your hardware ? It may be a common item...
