When I try and start my computer after a few seconds, scandisk starts up. When scandisk runs for a couple of minutes, my computer just freezes. I have tried starting in safe mode, and scandisk still starts up. I bypass scandisk and then I get a message that says Fatal Exception has occurred at OE 0167:83789930 and it tells me I need to hit ctrl-alt-del to restart. This is as far as I can boot up. I can't get to the desktop at all. I am running Windows 98.
