I am using Outlook express as my default mail and news client. I recently installed a new 8.4 Gig WD IDE hard drive. when I copied the old HD to the new using WD EZ Drive software, Outlook would freeze up and not allow me to shut down. I uninstalled it and am unable to reinstall it by opening setup50.exe.
OS is Win95 4.00.950a. Computer is a clone w/ Pentium 150. TIA for help, Larry

Hi! I downloaded Outlook Express5 from Microsoft and I have been having only problem since then. It doesn't open all the time. winsmm not responding is shown in task window when I stop task. It also does not activate the dial connection and respond by server could not be found. I remove the find fast from the start up program a long time ago. could this be a problem? all other program work fine on my computer.

I contacted ISP Tech support, Downloaded OE5 and reinstalled it. Saved my files prior to the crash,AOK.
