*.PST files have nothing to do with Outlook Express. They are the storage files of Outlook 97/98/2000.: I can't afford to lose all my filed e-mail. OH GOD PLEASE HELP ME...
I am not GOD, but I will try to help anyway, OK?
Do exactly what I write and you should get rid of this terrible file:
Open Outlook Express
Rightclick on "Local Folders"
Select "New Folder" and give it the name "Temporary Inbox"
Click on "Inbox" and drag and drop all mails except your brothers one from "Inbox" into "Temporary Inbox"
Now your Outlook Express probably will crash. OK: Reboot your Computer and open Outlook Express again.
Click on Tools / Options / Maintenance / Store Folder and have a look, where your files are stored. Write down the location and *close* Outlook Express. That is very important!
Go to this folder (Probably anthing like "C:\WINDOWS\AppliclationData\Identities\{aLoToFnUmBeRsAnDlEtTeRs}\Microsoft\Outlook Express", but the path may be completely different depending on your Setup).
Delete the File "Inbox.dbx".
That's all!
When you re-open Outlook Express a new folder "Inbox" will be created.
Now you can either move the files from "Temporary Inbox" to "Inbox" or you can create other folders like "Mails from my Brother" or "Mails from my friend".
Hope this helps
