I have just loaded IE5 and everything works great except for printing mail messages from Outlook Express. My printer works fine. I can still print from every other program on my machine. I can print web pages while surfing using Internet Explorer 5. When I press the print button (which I had to add to the toolbar...there was not one there by default), nothing happens. No error messages, no print, nothing. It seems as if OE is routing my print commands through a com port in lieu of the LPT1, but there is no way to go in and even check the configurations. Help me, please!

Using Win98 with MS IE 5.5 SP1 installed along with OE5 and I cannot print from Outlook Express either. Printer works fine from EVERY other program. Re-installed printer drivers (EPSON 1520) and OE5 will still NOT print E-Mails and IE will not permit printing of pages from IE. Suggestions?

You are welcome ;-): Thanks for your help, Teiresias! I had assumed the download of IE5 would include all required modules. : Thanks again! : : You obviously did not install Outlook Express 5. That is a known bug, that you cannot print from within Outlook Express 4 (!), as soon as you have installed Internet Explorer 5 (!). The version numbers of IE and OE must match. : : Solution: Install Outlook Express 5 from the Windows Update Site or download it from: : : http://www.microsoft.com/windows98/downloads/corporate.asp : : : : : I have just loaded IE5 and everything works great except for printing mail messages from Outlook Express.
