I have a computer given to me. It worked fine before I started emptying out garbage from other users. THEN, when I was going to finallize the shutting down, IT STOPPED going into Windows95, requested the "disc". So, I tried to Recover the System with a friend's Gateway Recover Disc, and no luck. No luck with repair downloads from Microsoft because it will not read any of the disc drives. It regesters them in the Setup Mode, but it goes nowhere.I REALLY need to fix the computer, I cannot afford to buy anything. I'm paralized. -Larry

You should use win 98 anyway, it is much better. Sounds like a good time to start from scratch before you put any of your own data on it. Also go into BIOS setup (press DEL while booting) and set it back to defaults.: I have a computer given to me. It worked fine before I started emptying out garbage from other users.
