Well, i did something to aggrovate my computer, and now some parts of Norton Utilities 2000 won't work. Some ask for N32USERL.DLL, others tell me that they have performed an illegal operation, then some other ones say that theres a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime error (abnormal program termination, yet there are a few apps that run unaffected. Is it the said .DLL file or have i totally stuffed something up? Please help.-ahem if it is the N32USERL.DLL file, could some nice person mail it to me - i_luv_head@beer.com

: Ahem, : I always get the n32user.dll file error message as well. I found this message board by doing a search on it, in fact. Did you download Norton from the Net? Supposedly, if you did, it's an error that's coming up because of a shared registration file. I read that one person's suggestion (I don't see how this is going to fix it, but it's his two cents worth) was to delete Norton and then reinstall it. He says it worked for him. As to the suggestion to go to http://www.astalavista.box.sk, been there done that. Still get the error message.

Now, when I try to launch Microsoft Word 2000, Word crashes immediately with the follloeing message: "Illegal operation". I checked the details and the message reads: N32USERL.dll has caused an invalid page fault. Any ideas, why this may be occuriing? Need Help!
