Internal stacks overflow

When win 98 tries to start up, i gert the message "windows protection error" and then another message that say there is a internal stacks overflow and to change it in the config.sys..How do i do these? and will this fix my problem? Help!

i am getting "an internal stack overflow has caused the session to be halted change the stack and setting in your config.sys file" while booting windows 95.
I had disable cache , done setting of stack in config.sys.How do i solve this problem
