: I am having what appears to be a common problem..

: I cannot shutdown and have to do the three finger salute.
: This occurs when I run a game which performes a change
: mode instruction such as MS AGE of the empire 2 .
: Games such as DOOM2 work fine.
: I find if I disable HARDWARE 3d on the setup panel the problem does not occur but then Doom2 does not run very well.
: I run a Celleron 400a 64Meg with TNT2-m64 32Meg card, latest drivers as well as DIRECTx 7a and MSwindows 98SE.
: This occured after installing a 3d card, I used to run a sis card with no 3d hardware. I have swopped the
: TNT2 card without solving the problem and do not susspect this card anymore. I am suspecting setup or a
: windows problem.

I have solved this problem by seeting my AGP Aperture size to 8Meg..It was defaulted to 64Meg..
