disable auto-insert notification. Rt click on my computer | choose properties | click dvice manager | double click cd-rom | double click on the drive listed, then click on settings tab. Uncheck box for auto-insert notification.: : every time i try to put a cd in the pc it doesn't matter what kind it locks up and the only way out is to push the reset buttons. i am this close to throwing this thing out the window i need some major help please can anyone help me thanks in advance : Had the same problem and installed norton utillities disc which has crash guard and freeze check try it.
