I've recently reformatted my pc. Unfortunatly though windows can't install.

I think that it has something todo with the error message "pci read configuration failure" that I get a dos loads.

What is it?

hello ive had the same trouble and i flashed the bios on my computer and i still get the error pci configuration failure, but theres a way around it that i found.put the startup disk in and turn on the computer and when you get to the a promp just type in setup c:/iq then hit enter. you will then be able to load windows.this skips checking for cross linked files and windows loads just fine.my computer is working fine now and i did all my updates.
